Midwifery is my calling; my passion and my goal is to provide as many women as I can with all of the knowledge, support and guidance they need to make informed decisions about all childbirth processes. I receive such joy from helping women feel empowered and satisfied with their births. It is such an honor to play such a part in a family’s most intimate journey. I believe being a midwife isn’t just about catching a baby, it’s about building friendships, bonding with my fellow sisters and helping women see how powerful and beautiful they are.

 Are you interested in using a midwife but prefer to birth in a hospital? No problem. As an advanced doula I can help you labor at home for as long as you like, while being able to monitor you and the baby. I can use a doppler regularly to make sure the baby’s heartbeat is staying within normal range. If you would like to have a cervical exam, we can check your dilation to make sure we get to the hospital at the right time. Studies have shown that women who use a doula have a lower cesarean section rate, have less interventions, and tend to be more satisfied with their birth experience.
